For baseball and golf! Accurate swing measurement at a fraction of the price.
It's not how hard you swing, but how well you swing!
The Swing Speed Radar® is a small, inexpensive tool that will improve your
swing mechanics by providing accurate feedback on the bat speed as you make
adjustments to your mechanics.
This microwave Doppler radar velocity sensor is easy to set up for baseball,
softball and golf! You can hook it on a chainlink fence (about 4-5' behind you)
as you hit off a tee. Or position it directly in front of you on a tripod as
you practice dry swings. It works just as well for golf when positioned behind
or at an angle to your clubhead contact point.
The Swing Speed Radar was introduced at The Super Show in Las Vegas Nevada,
January 20-22, 2003. It was displayed in the Product of the Year area, and demonstrated
in the Course section of the World of Sports Innovations, and also at our Exhibit
Booth where it received considerable attention.
Engineering models have been extensively tested, including performance evaluation
and calibration analysis with a state-of-the-art mechanized golf club swing
system. Jim Lefebvre has been using a Swing Speed Radar at his training facailty
in Scottsdale, Arizona since late January, 2003. Jim uses it for both baseball
swing training, and to optimize his golf swing. Golf pros and baseball/softball
coaches are beginning to use the Swing Speed Radar to facilitate their instruction.
Golfers and ball players are also recognizing the value of monitoring their
swing speeds.
