What is this Wheelman BushPig thingy?

WHEELMAN: A center mounted engine and frame, supported at each end by a spokeless wheel into which feet can be inserted while standing upright.

Wheelman's new BushPig has a 43cc 2 stroke engine which takes a mix of oil and gas just like a lawnmower or weed whacker. It holds around one liter of fuel and will give you a ride time of over an hour!

HOW DOES Wheelman's BushPig WORK?

The learning curve of a BushPig is very similar to skate/snow/surf boarding. So, if you have any experience in these you will be surprised on how fast and easy you pick it up.

At speed you use body movement to steer and at low speed (and you can ride The BushPig at an extremely slow pace) you can angle the front wheel from side to side with your foot.

The speed is controlled by a cable type controller held in your hand, both the thumb throttle and hand brake are easy to use!

To stop, all you need to do is let off the throttle and gradually squeeze the brake lever. The vehicle will slow quickly but smoothly, then/or you angle the toes of your rear foot toward the ground until the pads come into contact, the harder you push the faster you stop.

Wheelman History and Benefits

The benefits of the wheel without axles have intrigued engineers for 100 years. Successful vehicle manufacturers have explored various design configurations and arrangements.

Now, in commercial production the wheel without an axle has a place in this fun new machine!

It provides a low center of gravity, efficient space management, strength and a distinct weight saving that has never been seen before.

Although the wheel is one of the fundamentals of this vehicle it is maneuvered similar to a surf, snow or skateboard. As such, it is a great cross training tool for all your Extreme Sports!

The research and development of the Wheelman has taken place over the past 20 years from the principal concept by Grant Taylor to the refinement by production design engineer Muzza Grant. This ensured that man's greatest invention has been reinvented to what we see today with the newest BushPig.

With a 43 cc hi-powered 2-cycle engine the rider can achieve speeds over 20 mph. The Wheelman specific tire enhances efficiency of the drive system giving a smooth ride, and a hand held accelerator/brake make this BushPig the most user friendly version yet! The new BushPig comes equipped with a disk brake and is constructed of lightweight high strength ABS plastic and alloys.
